The race: Here's the race organizer's report.

After his victory in the fifth round in Heusden-Zolder, Tibor Del Grosso (Alpecin–Deceuninck) also won the sixth race of the Telenet Superprestige 2025-2026 series. He triumphed after a thrilling battle with Joran Wyseure (Crelan–Cordendon) and Thibau Nys (Baloise Glowi Lions).

Drama at the start: Michael Vanthourenhout unclipped from his pedal and caused a fall. The second-placed rider in the overall standings immediately started chasing to salvage as many points as possible.

At the front, Del Grosso quickly took the lead thanks to a strong performance through the sand. In the chasing group, Thibau Nys had to make up some ground after a less-than-ideal start. In the second lap, the Belgian champion took over the pace in the chasing group. After an equally strong passage through the sand, he rode at his own pace towards leader Del Grosso.

The two played cat and mouse for several laps, but in the meantime lost ground to the chasing group. In the seventh of the nine laps, Joran Wyseure rejoined the leading group.

The tactical battle led to small mistakes. In the penultimate lap, Del Grosso had to put his foot down, a perfect opportunity for Nys to attack. However, his attack didn't get him far. The Belgian champion also made a mistake and fell in the sand. Del Grosso capitalized and built up a lead of a few seconds again. Nys tried to close the gap with an all-or-nothing attempt on the Regimentsberg climb, but in vain. Wyseure had found the right pace and overtook Nys, securing second place.

Thus, Del Grosso achieved his second consecutive victory in the Telenet Superprestige. With his second place, Wyseure moved up to third position in the overall standings, while Nys finished third. Vanthourenhout secured his first place in the overall standings with a strong comeback to finish in sixth place.

The race: Here's a machine-translation of the race organizer's report.

Puck Pieterse (Alpecin–Fenix) secured her first victory of the 2025-2026 cyclocross season in Diegem. Marie Schreiber (Team SD Worx–Protime) finished second, followed by Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (Fenix–Deceuninck) in third place.

Under the floodlights in and around Diegem, Pieterse and Schreiber immediately got off to a flying start. Inge van der Heijden, second in the overall standings, crashed and was forced to abandon. Alvarado, who had been on the podium in the last four editions in Diegem, followed closely behind the leaders and managed to catch up in the second lap.

Pieterse clearly had a good feeling and immediately created the first gap with a strong passage through the sand. Schreiber and Alvarado followed about ten seconds behind. In the chasing group, Aniek van Alphen, Kata Blanka Vas, and Jolanda Neff battled for points.

Alvarado eventually paid the price for her fast start and couldn't keep up with Schreiber's pace. However, Schreiber persevered and kept believing in the race, especially in the penultimate lap when Pieterse suffered a puncture. Pieterse recovered quickly, however, and kept the pressure from her pursuers at bay, allowing her to cross the finish line solo. Aniek van Alphen retains the lead in the Telenet Superprestige standings with her seventh-place finish.
