| I take no pleasure in being right in predicting Valverde's meltdown. He and Cunego came off on the Tourmalet and the high speed CSC imposed on the race ensured that Valverde and Cunego would be unable to rejoin the leaders. I wish Valverde's trainers would give him a slower lead-in to the season so he doesn't keep riding the Tour overtrained. | ||||||||
