Bike companies release mixed earnings reports

Bicycle Retailer and Industry News sent me this comprehensive earnings update:

NEW YORK (BRAIN) - It's been a week of ups and downs for those following publicly traded companies that do business in the bike arena. Dorel saw Q3 sales decline 18 percent in its bike business, blaming the result on hurricanes and retail bankruptcies. Meanwhile, Fox Factory sales were up 8.8 percent in Q3 in its bicycle-related businesses, which includes sales under the Fox, Marzocchi, Easton Cycling and Race Face brands. GoPro and Garmin also reported sales gains in the third quarter, although Garmin's fitness division - which includes cycling products - saw sales decline 12 percent.
