Yellow Jersey Stefan Schumacher collided with Kim Kirchen and crashed in the final kilomteers of the climb. The "same-time" rule for crashes within the final 3 kilometers does not apply to hilltop finishes. Schumacher lost 32 seconds and the lead.
Frank Schleck (CSC-Saxo) leads Kim Kirchen (obscured) across the line.
Riccardo Ricco (Saunier Duval) had the suds today. That's Valverde and Evans behuind him.
Kim Kirchen is the new Yellow Jersey. Columbia Sportswear must be very happy with their new investment in the team.
