The race: Here's the report from winner Gianni Moscon's INEOS Grenadiers.

Gianni Moscon claimed an impressive solo victory at GP Lugano after an attacking performance from the Grenadiers.

The peloton tackled eight laps of a hilly Swiss course, with Moscon pushing clear on the final circuit as part of a group of four.

The Italian drove on alongside Ben Hermans, Simon Pellaud and Valerio Conti, before putting in a stinging attack on the final climb. The Grenadier went clear heading into the final four kilometres, eventually taking an emphatic solo victory.

Pushing on into the final 40km it was Jhonatan Narvaez who enlivened the race with a strong attack. The Ecuadorian went clear and forced the likes of UAE-Emirates and Israel Start-Up Nation into chasing him down.

With Narvaez caught it was Moscon, Tom Pidcock and Michal Golas who began the bell lap in a select lead group, before Moscon took the win in style.
