In Italy all is right with the world. Italians own both the Polka Dot and Yellow jerseys. Nocentini's title to the yellow one is a bit iffy. Today George Hincapie almost took it and certainly tomorrow's hilltop stage will bring a new leader.
The Alpha Dog before the start of the race. Armstrong has ridden an economical, flawless race so far.
1988 Tour winner Pedro Delgado was spotted at the start.
Cervelo's powerhouse riders Thor Hushovd and Carlos Sastre before the start.
Just before the start of stage 14 with the Classification leaders ready to go.
Another Tour win after a solo break. This time it's Serguei Ivanov who takes stage 14.
The sprinters fight for the scraps left on the table. The most they can hope for is 13th place.
Thor Hushovd (green) explains his displeasure to young Mr. Cavendish about how the Columbia rider handled himself in the field sprint. Cavendish was relegated to the back of the pack for irregular sprinting and Mr. Hushovd keeps the Green Jersey.
