Story of the Tour de France

2009 Tour de France
July 4 - July 26, 2009

Rinaldo Nocentini gets to spend yet another day in yellow.
Andy Schleck signs some autographs before the start.
Cavendish will start tomorrow's stage in green.
1980 Tour winner Joop Zoetemelk was at the start.
Here comes the wild herd. Hushovd (in green) looks well placed with Cavendish and Farrar lining up next to him.
Cavendish and Farrar have pulled ahead
And Cavendish barely beats Farrar.
I'm going to stick my neck out. This is the man who will be in yellow in Paris. Lance Armstrong is getting stronger every day, the other riders have noticed this. He has ridden an error-free race. He's never caught napping when moves are afoot. I believe no other GC rider has gained time on a flat road stage this year. Armstrong has. He has the most succesful Director and most of the world's most powerful team behind him. I believe Lance Armstrong will win the 2009 Tour de France.
