This was the second of three days in the Pyrenees.
Again, Astana spent most of the day at the front, riding tempo. Armstrong is sitting third here.
Early on Cadel Evans took a shot at getting away, but ended up in the peloton.
Luis Leon Sanchez timed his sprint perfectly, soundly beating his other breakaway companions.
Caisse d'Epargne also won the field sprint. Here Jose Joaquin Rojas makes it look easy.
