Giro della Provincia di Grosseto (2.1)

The Giro della Provincia di Grosseto is a 3-day race held in the province of Grosseto in the region of Tuscany in mid-February. It's a relatively new race, the inaugural edition being held in 2008. Because many teams hold their training camps in Tuscany, the very early season race gets a very high quality peloton.

The 2008 edition suffered a riders' strike in the final kilometers over the unsafe conditions of the second stage. The judges annuled the stage.
