"The winning series by Alessandro Petacchi in Gp Costa degli Etruschi went on: to his collection of celebrating picture on Donoratico arrival, Ale Jet added the sixth photo, this time wearing Lampre-Farnese Vini jersey.

"For his third seasonal win, the Italian sprinter could rely on a perfect performance by his team, that could take the control of the race in the proper moment and could support the captain in a perfect way just to the sprint: he performed a powerful sprint that allowed him to precede Loddo and Sabatini.

" 'I'm very happy I could add another victory in Gp Costa degli Etruschi to my palmares' Petacchi commented, 'I was willing to obtain this victory and dedicate it to my new team: my team mates supported me in a very good way, so I had only to focus on the sprint. Now I’m going to stay in training camp for the next two days, then I’ll be at home for some days and then I’ll be back to race in Trofeo Laigueglia.' "

" 'An interesting race, that I used to perform a good training at a high pace', using these words Cunego commented his seasonal debut.

"Sport director Piovani described the debuts by Malori and Ulissi: 'Maybe because he was racing on his hometown roads, Ulissi was more excited that Malori, who had already had experience in pro world last year as trainee. Anyway, they both performed a good race, working well for the team target'. Then Piovani underlined his appreciation for the Petacchi and the whole team: 'Today the team showed another time that the feeling among team mates his already good: Petacchi was perfect in finalize the work. Alessandro is already in a good fit, but his biggest weapon is his strong will to win.' "
