May 24, Sunday: Photos from Stage 15, Forli - Faenza, 159 km.

Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it. Yesterday Di Luca went on about Liquigas not doing anything during the stage. Today on the descent of the Casale, Liquigas went to the front and dropped the hammer. The field split under the pressure. Then on the Trebbio Basso took off. At first no one reacted. Finally Garzelli chased and linked up.
Further up the road a break of 16 had been whittled down to just 2, Leonardo Bertagnolli and Serge Pauwels (in black).
Basso and Garzelli came through about 2 minutes later, picking up dropped riders from the original break.
Di Luca (in purple) and Menchov (in pink) came thorugh still another minute later. They with several others eventually caught Basso and Garzelli.
Armstrong (in black sox) along with Cunego (in front) were dropped on the Trebbio. Popovych leads Armstrong and the Acqua & Sapone rider in the back is Alessandro Donati.
Serge Pauwels couldn't stay with Bertagnolli. Bertagnolli takes the stage after joining a break at the 27th kilometer. Bravo!.
